Counting Down

1 more week till the start of exams. Stress level increasing day by day.

Anyway, took my BTT for the second time today. And I passed! Whooo I was elated! Pumped my fist in the air (like those sportsmen when they win) when I saw the PASSED sign. So I applied for my PDL + booked my FTT already (: Will start once exams are over!

We’re done with the first semester of year 2 Time flies yo.

It’s the 1-month long study break now. Quoting N, it’s the “fact sponging time” now. Add oil!

Hello July

Nothing much to update except to say that I won’t be here for the entire month of July except for today cos all the madness from ICAs are coming in and I wanna concentrate on doing them well. I hope my laptop doesn’t screw up on me. It’s already kinda :/ :/ now ARGH.

So my sister left on Monday to Australia for further studies and Kim left today to NZ for the same reason. Wish them all the best

Sorry for the super boring titles.

So after the last post on the 21st, I haven’t been doing much.
On Tuesday it was a stay-at-home-and-rot day. Went town alone on Wednesday to look at books and to buy Jo’s birthday present. It was great walking around alone… cos you’re free to go wherever you want to without inconveniencing others.

And yesterday! Went to Discovery Networks Asia Pacific with my group mates to interview Alison White, a production manager with DNAP. Super xinfinity lovely lady. I realised I’ve been really lucky with all these interview assignments. Last semester we managed to interview an editor with Straits Times who was  super nice too. Both of them made time out of their busy schedule to help us out for which we’re really thankful.

Today… it was raining cats and dogs again. Went back to school to discuss our multicam prod ica. Met up with our talent and did all the necessary stuff. Production is scheduled for next Thursday!

So I think I’ll be blogging on a weekly basis from now on or unless I have something that I wanna share. I think having to blog on a daily basis is such a hassle :/ Each time I blog, my organizer is always next to me cos it’s like my life. It follows me wherever I go. There’s so much stuff inside I cannot imagine what it’ll be like if I lose it. Nup, I’m not exaggerating. Haha I’m sure there are many people like me out there.

Updates

Volunteering for the YOG UDAC have been pretty fun. Was on duty with Humaira during the weekend and there was no crowd at all so everyone at the counters were fighting for “customers”. Hahaha. But cos there was no crowd at all, it got really boring. We were all entertaining ourselves by talking, attempting to sleep, listening to music and yadda yadda. Plus we were fed so often. Lunch was at about 12 and then dinner at 4. Omg we weren’t even hungry cos we were just lazing around most of the time. We’ll be on duty again this coming weekend. Hope there will be more people.

It’s term break now but I’m still in school so often. Was in school last Thursday for CCA, Friday for YOG orientation, Weekend for YOG UDAC and I went back again today for group project meeting. So many things to do this break but it’s ok (:

MAD ANNOYED

Bought the China version of DWL DVD from Poh Kim earlier on and MUCH TO MY DISMAY, 2 of the discs were spoilt. I hope they’re taking in the Taiwan version cos no way in hell am I gonna exchange for another China version. Seriously wtf. Am. So. Pissed. I thought the China version would be fine. Until I looked at the cover properly at home and :/Sigh.

Took the BTT this morning and I failed. Fml I thought I was gonna pass cos I didn’t have much difficulty with the qns but nooo, FAIL. Today sucks big time.

I think the only thing that was nice today was when I met Xaby coincidentally at the Ubi driving centre and then later we met up again at TPY for lunch and laughed our asses off. Hehe.
